Scarlett Moffatt has shared an adorable throwback of herself as a tiny dancer – just ahead of the Strictly Come Dancing live shows.
The I’m A Celebrity winner and Saturday Night Takeaway star posted a grainy video of herself waltzing around a ballroom at the age of 10, when she was set to become a semi-pro dancer.
Captioning the cute footage on Twitter , Scarlett wrote: “Throw back of all throwbacks!! 10 year old me doing a ballroom tango dance demonstration for the UKA congress at the wintergardens in Blackpool!!
“Ahhhh how I miss dancing .”
She added some critique on Instagram , telling her younger self: “Come on Scarlett you can do better than that, compress your knees more and sharpen those head movement.”
In the throwback video, little Scarlett looks calm and composed as she holds her frame while dancing with her young male partner.
Her brunette hair was parted in the middle and shaped into a chic up-do.
The future Gogglebox star wore a stunning floaty blue dress, which matched her baby-blue eyes.
It was thanks to her foxtrotting skills that Scarlett was lined up for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing – although she won’t be part of the line-up, as she’s ruled herself out before now.
“You know what, I feel like I would get more grief for doing Strictly because I’ve danced before,” she told The Wright Stuff in 2017.
“People would say it won’t be fair because she’s already danced.”
She started competitive ballroom dancing at the age of six, and stuck with it all through her childhood up until she went to university.
“It was getting too much to commute and go to training,” she previously revealed.
But she’s wistfully looked back at her bachata background recently, having posted a snap of herself dolled up for a competition and mourning “those toned arms”.
