When , a young woman living with Cerebral Palsy (CP), dances across the ballroom floor with Dancing With The Stars professional , her CP takes a backseat. And that’s exactly what will happen on Saturday, November 16th.
Lauren’s non-profit organization, The Make Lemon Aide Foundation for CP, will host its Lemon Twist Gala II event at Asbury Hall.
The event raises funds to train WNY physical therapists on an innovative therapy called Symptom Recovery Model Therapy. SRM Therapy is what enables Lauren to glide across the dance floor like a pro. By supporting The Make Lemon Aide Foundation, you’re giving others in WNY living with CP an opportunity to live their best life ever.
This black-tie optional event is about our community coming together for a life-changing cause. Interested?
Here’s what to expect.
An evening filled with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, fabulous auction items, dancing and music. Plus, if you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at ballroom dancing, you could win a chance to dance with Mayo Alanen!
DJ Nicholas Picholas from KISS 98.5 will be spinning tunes at the Gala. Special guests also include Lauren Hall from Channel 2 News and Rebecca Thornburg from Channel 7 News.
Tickets are available now, and we hear the heartfelt performance by Lauren and Mayo is a can’t miss.
